Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Infection Control Nurse to oversee and implement infection prevention and control practices within the hospital. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring hospital-acquired infections, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols, conducting surveillance, and educating healthcare staff on infection prevention measures.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and prevent hospital-acquired infections (HAIs).
Conduct infection surveillance and maintain accurate records.
Ensure compliance with NABH/NABL and hospital infection control standards.
Develop and implement infection control policies and SOPs.
Conduct regular infection control audits and inspections.
Train and educate healthcare workers on infection prevention practices.
Coordinate with various departments regarding infection control measures.
Investigate outbreaks and recommend corrective actions.




Monitor sterilization, disinfection, biomedical waste management, and hand hygiene practices.
Prepare monthly infection control reports and presentations.

Desired Candidate Profile
B.Sc Nursing / GNM with a valid nursing registration.
Certification or training in Infection Control is preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in infection control or hospital nursing.
Knowledge of NABH standards and infection prevention protocols.
Valuable communication, analytical, and training skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
