Role Description This is a full time, in office Jewellery Salesperson role based at our store in Kolkata.

The Jewellery

Salesperson will welcome customers, understand their needs, and provide informed recommendations on jewelry pieces, collections, and customization options.

Responsibilities include explaining product features and certifications, handling customer queries, processing sales transactions, and ensuring accurate billing and documentation. The role also involves maintaining attractive product displays, monitoring stock levels on the sales floor, and supporting price tags and labeling.

Salesperson will follow store policies, contribute to daily sales targets, assist with promotional activities, and uphold high standards of customer service and store hygiene.

Qualifications
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
Effective communication skills in English and local languages; confident in explaining product details and offers.
Basic sales, negotiation, and upselling abilities, with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Attention to detail and basic numeracy for handling cash, card payments, and accurate billing.
Interest in jewelry, fashion, and design, with willingness to learn about materials, certifications, and trends.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work a retail schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Prior experience in retail or jewelry sales is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Minimum high school education or equivalent; higher qualifications in commerce, marketing, or related fields are a plus.
