Scope of Role

CAD, powertrain integration.

Area of Responsibility
Candidate will be part of Powertrain teams as a full time CAD engineer for powertrain integration team.
Conduct package checks, clearance report generation, cross-commodity liaison.
Shouldhave a good understanding ofvehicle package guideline.
Sound knowledge of Plastic and Sheet metaldesign guidelines and manufacturing processes is required.
Should have an ability to conduct benchmarkingstudiesand propose creative solutions.
Positive understanding of PCDS and major gateways.

Knowledge / Experience 6 to 8 Years

Essential
Automotive domain knowledge with working experience of powertrain system.




Timely S/T/P releases by ensuring right information of CAD data is produced with BOM, weight management.
Understanding of commodity release & change management
Understanding of Proto & Production BOM, build support,
Excellent CATIA V5 and CATIA V6 2D/3D skills.
Exposure to PLM tools such as TeamCenter.
GD&T; application, 3D/2D.
Problem solving, robust communication, decision making, ownership mindset.
Tools - CatiaV5/V6, Vismockup, Teamcenter, MS tools.

Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or related discipline.
