Location: Chennai | Hyderabad | Coimbatore /n We are looking for an experienced DB2 DBA (z/OS) to manage and support enterprise-grade database settings. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in DB2 administration, performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, and database infrastructure management. /n Key Responsibilities: /n Install, configure, and maintain DB2 databases on z/OS. /n Manage database infrastructure, including instances, partitions, and clusters. /n Design and implement High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HADR) solutions, clustering, and replication. /n Perform database upgrades, fix packs, patch management, and version migrations. /n Monitor database performance and optimize system resources for maximum efficiency. /n Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. /n Troubleshoot complex database and system-level issues, performing root cause analysis. /n Optimize memory, CPU, I/O, storage, and database configurations. /n Collaborate with infrastructure teams for capacity planning and hardware sizing. /n Automate DBA activities using scripting tools such as Shell, Python, or Perl. /n Implement and maintain database security, including authentication, authorization, and auditing.



/n Support production settings and participate in on-call support as required. /n Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and best practices. /n Required Skills: /n /n
Strong experience with DB2 Database Administration on z/OS

Expertise in database performance tuning and monitoring

Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning

Knowledge of HADR, clustering, and replication technologies

Scripting experience with Shell, Python, or Perl
