Role : Senior Mainframe Developer
Required Qualifications
5–10 years of relevant experience in mainframe application development, maintenance, and production support.
Robust hands-on expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, SQL, JCL, and IBM z/OS.
Experience developing, supporting, and troubleshooting both online and batch mainframe applications.
Hands-on experience providing production batch support, including incident triage, abend resolution, job recovery, and service restoration.
Proven experience delivering solutions in an Agile workplace while adhering to development best practices, coding standards, and testing procedures.
Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.

Skillset
COBOL programming, enhancement, debugging, and application maintenance.
CICS online transaction development, support,
and performance troubleshooting.
DB2 database programming, SQL development, query optimization, and performance tuning.
JCL development, batch job scheduling, monitoring, restart, recovery, and dependency management.
VSAM file handling, dataset management, and mainframe file-processing concepts.
Mainframe utilities including SORT, IDCAMS, IEBGENER, IEBCOPY, DFSORT, and SYNCSORT.
TSO, ISPF, SDSF, SPUFI, and production job-management tools.
Production support, incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, problem management, and service restoration.
MQ, CICS web services, and integration between mainframe and distributed applications.
Performance tuning for COBOL programs, CICS transactions, DB2 SQL, and batch jobs.
Mainframe application design, code review, testing, deployment, release support, and documentation. full stack
