Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a Manager US Accounting with strong end-to-end accounting expertise and extensive hands-on experience with QuickBooks and US clients. The ideal candidate should have the ability to independently manage client relationships, lead a team of accounting professionals, review deliverables, and ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team handling end-to-end accounting activities for US clients.
Own the overall accounting process, including Bookkeeping, AP, AR, GL, Bank Reconciliations, Journal Entries and Month-End Close.
Have robust hands-on experience working on QuickBooks and be comfortable reviewing and troubleshooting accounting transactions.
Act as the primary point of contact for US clients for accounting-related matters.
Understand client requirements, manage expectations and ensure timely resolution of queries.
Review the team's work for accuracy, completeness and compliance with accounting standards.
Plan and allocate work across the team and ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.




Conduct regular team reviews, provide feedback and coach team members.
Take ownership of team performance, productivity and quality metrics.
Identify process gaps and drive process improvements and standardization.
Support month-end and year-end close activities and ensure timely reporting.
Handle escalations and resolve complex accounting issues independently.
Work closely with US stakeholders and demonstrate solid client management and communication skills.

Required Skills
Strong end-to-end accounting knowledge.
Mandatory hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
Strong experience working with US-based clients.
Experience managing or leading an accounting team.
Someone who is willing and capable of leading a team, rather than an individual contributor role.
Robust understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
