Job Context Indian Rayon, ( A Unit of Aditya Birla Nuvo Limited), one of the Blue Chip Unit, operating in Yarn and Chlor-Alkali business, is the second largest Viscose Filament Yarn (VFY) manufacturer in India, located at a remote place Veraval in Saurashtra region of Gujarat on the seacoast.

Aditya Birla Group took over this organization in 1966 with captive production capacity of 5.0 TPD. It has grown over the last 5 decades to capacity of 54 TPD comprising of 43.5 TPD Pot Spun Yarn (PSY), 4.5 TPD of Continuous Spun Yarn (CSY) and 6.5 TPD of Spool Spun Yarn (SSY- Enka, German technology commissioned on 2013).

Towards self-reliance, it had installed 16.5 MW Power Plant in 1997 and 18 MW in 2006, for cost effective, uninterrupted power supply, and also had commissioned a Caustic Plant with capacity of 100TPD in the year 1997, which has now been expanded to produce 250 TPD.
