Role & responsibilities

Government & Regulatory Affairs
Develop and maintain effective relationships with District Administration, Labour, Factory, Pollution Control, Revenue, Police, Fire, Forest and other Government authorities.
Facilitate statutory approvals, NOCs, licences, permissions and renewals required for plant/project operations.
Monitor regulatory developments and coordinate timely responses and compliance.
External & Stakeholder Management
Act as the key interface between Dalmia Cement and Government / external stakeholders.
Manage relationships with elected representatives, local leaders, community representatives and other institutional stakeholders.
Identify emerging external risks and provide timely inputs to senior management.
Community & Local Issues
Build positive relationships with surrounding villages and communities.
Facilitate resolution of issues related to local employment, transportation, contractors,



land, infrastructure and community concerns.
Support peaceful resolution of protests, grievances and other local issues affecting operations.
Project & Plant Support
Support Greenfield / Brownfield project execution through effective Government liaison.
Coordinate with Projects, HR & IR, Legal, CSR, Setting, Safety, Security and Administration teams.
Ensure timely escalation and closure of external bottlenecks impacting project/plant operations.
CSR & Reputation Management
Coordinate with CSR and local administration for community development initiatives.
Strengthen Dalmia Cement's image and social licence to operate in the surrounding area.
Support management during crisis, regulatory or law-and-order situations.
