Role Description The Mould Management Executive will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of production moulds used in packaging and manufacturing, ensuring their availability, reliability, and optimal performance. This full-time, on-site role is based in Mumbai and involves coordinating with internal production teams, external vendors, and maintenance personnel to plan mould usage, track mould condition, and schedule preventive maintenance. The role includes maintaining detailed mould inventory records, monitoring mould performance in line with quality standards, and initiating corrective actions to minimize downtime and defects.

The Executive will support current mould development projects, participate in trials, and help implement improvements in mould design and handling practices. The position also requires adherence to safety and compliance guidelines, preparation of periodic performance reports, and continuous collaboration with cross-functional teams such as operations, quality, and supply chain.

Qualifications

- Strong technical understanding of injection, blow, or other moulding processes and equipment used in FMCG or packaging industries.
- Experience in mould maintenance planning,



preventive maintenance scheduling, and coordination with tooling or engineering teams.
- Ability to manage mould inventory, documentation, and tracking systems with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Knowledge of quality standards, defect analysis, and basic root cause problem-solving in a manufacturing setup.
- Proficiency in using MS Office and basic ERP or production management software for reporting and data analysis.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills to work with production, quality, and vendor partners.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- CIPET Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience in mould or tool room management within FMCG, plastics, packaging, or related manufacturing sectors is preferred.
