Role & responsibilities
Apply engineering science and technology, including principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and implementation of products.
Leverage debugging and testing processes and protocols to finalize code.
Perform new feature exploration of each solution to determine feature-fit for strategic and tactical program activities.
Work on current development and defect fixes.
Address planned and unplanned production issues, coordination, maintenance, communication, and business support.
Document and implement change control and best practices regarding system maintenance, configuration, development, testing, and data integrity.
Perform operations tasks such as monitoring application performance.
Collaborate with other members of the engineering team to design new features.




Identify areas for process and efficiency improvement.
Continuously improve software engineering practices and built-in automation for manual processes.

Preferred candidate profile
Solid knowledge of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, Go, or similar).
Knowledge of up-to-date software development frameworks and platforms.
Understanding of software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting methodologies.
Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices.
