IndiaFirst Life Insurance is looking for an experienced skilled to lead Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) compliance and Data Governance initiatives across the organization. The role requires robust expertise in data privacy regulations, data governance frameworks, data classification, and lifecycle management.
Drive DPDPA compliance across the organization.
Develop and implement data governance policies and frameworks.
Lead enterprise-wide data classification programs.
Define and monitor data security controls including encryption, access management, retention, and secure sharing.
Manage complete data lifecycle, including collection, storage, usage, sharing, archival, and deletion.
Conduct risk assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Compliance, IT, Data Engineering, and Business teams.
Lead privacy awareness and training programs.
Support incident response and data privacy remediation activities.
Engage with regulators on data protection matters.
