Job Title: Microbiologist

Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. Microbiology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform microbiological analysis of water, wastewater, environmental and other assigned samples.
- Conduct routine microbiological testing as per approved laboratory methods and SOPs.
- Prepare culture media, reagents and maintain microbiological test materials.
- Handle sample collection, preparation, testing and result documentation.
- Maintain laboratory records, worksheets, test reports and related documentation.
- Operate and maintain microbiology laboratory equipment.
- Ensure proper sterilization, hygiene and laboratory safety practices.
- Monitor and maintain required quality control standards during testing.
- Identify and report abnormal or out-of-specification results to the concerned senior.
- Support internal quality checks, audits and laboratory documentation.




- Follow laboratory SOPs, safety procedures and applicable quality requirements.

Required Skills:

- Good knowledge of microbiological testing and laboratory practices.
- Hands-on experience with culture media preparation and microbial analysis.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and quality control.
- Good analytical and observation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
