Role & responsibilities :
Integrate with banks and financial institutions through APIs
Power account opening, KYC, deposits, cards, payments and other financial workflows
Bring balances, transactions and financial data from different institutions into one experience
Build secure APIs used by our mobile and web applications
Handle bank callbacks, webhooks, failures, retries and reconciliation
Create a common Unbordered layer so different bank systems can work through one consistent platform
Build systems that are secure, reliable and scalable

Preferred candidate profile :
3+ years of backend engineering experience
Robust programming skills in languages such as Java, Kotlin, Go, Python, Node.js/TypeScript or similar
Experience building APIs and backend services
Positive understanding of databases, distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
Comfortable working with third-party APIs and integrations
Solid problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership
Experience in fintech, banking, payments, lending,



KYC or financial services is a strong plus, but not mandatory
