Role & responsibilities
Labor Room Management: Overseeing the triage, progression, and delivery of low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, including instrumental deliveries and neonatal resuscitation.
Surgical Leadership: Performing and supervising major and minor obstetric and gynecological surgeries, such as emergency C-sections, hysterectomies, and ectopic pregnancy management.
Emergency Intervention: Leading the immediate response to acute crises like postpartum hemorrhage (PPH), eclampsia, and cord prolapse.
Clinical Supervision: Guiding Junior Residents and interns in evidence-based antenatal care, postoperative recovery, and ward management.
Patient Counseling: Communicating complex diagnoses regarding fetal anomalies, infertility, or gynecological oncology with sensitivity and legal clarity.
