Principal Engineer / SME - Process Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Chemical Engineer with 18+ years of progressive experience in Refinery Operations, Process Engineering, Technical Services, and Plant Performance Optimization. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on exposure to refinery units and operational excellence initiatives, with a robust understanding of process troubleshooting, yield improvement, energy optimization, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise for refinery process operations.
Support process optimization, debottlenecking, troubleshooting, and improvement initiatives across refinery units.
Drive operational excellence through performance monitoring, yield enhancement, energy efficiency, and reliability improvement programs.
Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and HSE teams to ensure safe and productive plant performance.




Lead root cause analysis for process-related issues and recommend sustainable solutions.
Mentor and guide process engineers and technical teams.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
18+ years of experience in Refinery/Petrochemical Operations, Technical Services, or Process Engineering.
Solid exposure to refinery process units and plant operations.
Proven experience in process optimization, troubleshooting, and operational support.
Prior experience in a lead, principal engineer, or SME capacity is preferred.
Candidates with predominantly engineering design/consultancy backgrounds will not be considered.
