Apollo Sugar Clinic is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team at Shapoorji. The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with diabetes, assisting doctors in patient treatment, and promoting preventive health practices. The ideal candidate will possess solid clinical skills, empathy, and a patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care
Assist in patient assessments and documentation of medical history.
Provide care, support, and education to diabetic patients, including monitoring blood glucose levels and medication administration.
Prepare patients for consultations, medical procedures, and diagnostic tests.
Medical Assistance
Assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
Administer medications, injections, and other therapeutic procedures as prescribed.
Maintain and manage clinic equipment, ensuring it is sanitized and functioning properly.
Patient Education and Counseling
Educate patients on diabetes management,
including lifestyle changes, diet, and medication adherence.
Provide counseling on managing complications associated with diabetes.
Records and Documentation
Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatment, medication, and progress.
Prepare reports and summaries of patient conditions for clinic management and physicians.
Coordination and Communication
Coordinate with other healthcare specialists for patient referrals and follow-ups.
Ensure effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
