Role Description This is a full time, in office Software Developer role based in Chennai.

The Software

Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain web and software applications that support PlaciboTechnologies’ training platforms and internal systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, effective code, participating in code reviews, debugging and resolving issues, and collaborating with trainers, product teams, and other developers to implement new features. The role also involves integrating back-end services, optimizing application performance, and ensuring reliability and security.





The Software

Developer will contribute to technical documentation and support continuous improvement of tools used by learners and staff.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess solid foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Software Development.
Candidates should possess skills in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Candidates should possess experience in Back-End Web Development and related server-side technologies.
Candidates should possess familiarity with modern development tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and collaborative workflows.
Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to learn new technologies quickly.
Candidates should possess effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Candidates should possess experience with common web frameworks, databases, and API integration; prior work on real-world projects or internships is an advantage.
