We are looking for a dynamic, organised and commercially aware Night Operator to join our Operations team .

The role

You will be responsible for managing live transport movements throughout the night, ensuring shipments are collected and delivered safely, efficiently and on time.

Working in a fast-paced workplace, you will communicate with customers, drivers and transport partners while maintaining accurate updates across our internal systems. You will also respond to new enquiries, source suitable vehicles and produce competitive quotations.

Key responsibilities

Manage and monitor time-critical UK and European shipments.

Respond promptly to customer enquiries and transport requests.

Source suitable vehicles through our approved carrier network.

Prepare quotations and secure transport capacity at competitive rates.

Issue clear instructions to drivers and transport partners.

Track collections and deliveries, proactively managing any delays or issues.

Provide customers with regular and accurate shipment updates.

Check driver, vehicle and supplier compliance before allocating work.

Record job information and communication accurately within the transport management system.





Escalate operational or service issues when necessary.

Maintain a clear and comprehensive handover for the day-shift team.

Support the wider Operations team during busy periods.

What we are looking for

Previous experience in transport, freight forwarding, logistics or traffic operations is preferred.

Experience managing time-critical or express transport would be advantageous.

Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Confidence speaking with customers, drivers and suppliers.

Good geographical knowledge of the UK and Europe.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.

Commercial awareness and confidence negotiating supplier rates.

Competence using email, Microsoft Office and transport-management systems.

A reliable and responsible approach to working independently during the night.

Flexibility to work the required night-shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays where applicable.

Full training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment.

- We need someone able to work from 6pm - 6am (UK TIME)

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
