Urgent Requirement: Speech Therapist, Autism Therapist & Behavior Therapist (Full time) for the Public Welfare Foundation, a non-for-profit (NFP) founded by the Electronics For You Group.Job descriptionDo you have a deep interest in exploring different forms of autism, and possible therapies and solutions?Are you excited about the prospect of researching current technologies and best practices for helping children with autism?Can you manage to commute daily to Palam Vihar (Gurugram)?If yes, then this job might be your perfect opportunity.Role & ResponsibilitiesOverall, this role is a split between a researcher and a doer. Part of the day you will spend researching and documenting your findings, and the rest in trying out your research on patients who are open and willing to try new therapies, along with the standard ones.Specific Tasks Include: Do research on the latest technologies, tools, thought leaders, and best practices related to autism, and document the same on a web blog.



Read and document different approaches suggested by different experts and doctors. Attend events and seminars by experts (both in-person and online), and document key findings. Periodically review what worked for different types of patients and develop insights. Develop and nurture communities of patients and their parents. Plan and organise events (at the centre and other venues) for the above community to connect. Impart different therapies to patients and record results.Preferred Candidate Profile You have a passion for this challenging area and deep empathy for the patients and their family members. You have an educational background that has prepared you for venturing into such a role.
