iitjobs is looking for a Systems / Infrastructure Engineering role supporting AI/ML with a strong understanding of server infrastructure, system architecture, and Linux-based settings. The ideal candidate will help design, deploy, maintain, and scale the backend infrastructure powering on the Client's platform, with a focus on reliability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, configure, and maintain server infrastructure supporting Client’s platform.
Work with bare-metal servers, compute infrastructure, storage, and networking .
Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems and server environments.
Support and optimize infrastructure for compute-intensive workloads , including ML inference and scientific computing.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and improve reliability and scalability.




Collaborate with engineering teams on system architecture, capacity planning, and infrastructure automation .

Required Skills
2–4 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Server Engineer, or similar role.
Strong understanding of server administration and system architecture .
Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems .
Valuable understanding of network architecture, TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and firewalls .
Understanding of bare-metal infrastructure and physical server environments.
Experience supporting compute-intensive workloads , such as ML inference, AI workloads, HPC, or scientific computing.

Valuable to Have
Experience with GPU servers / NVIDIA infrastructure .
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP .
Experience working with high-performance computing or AI/ML infrastructure.
