Chartered Accountant - Statutory Audit

Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with 2 -3 years of post-qualification experience to join our Statutory Audit team. The role involves executing statutory audit assignments, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards, and working closely with clients and senior team members.

Key ResponsibilitiesExecute statutory audit assignments for clients across various industries.

Plan and perform audit procedures in accordance with applicable Standards on Auditing (SAs) and relevant statutory requirements.

Review financial statements, accounting records, supporting documents and audit evidence.

Assess internal controls and identify financial, operational and compliance risks.

Prepare and review audit working papers, schedules and documentation.

Assist in the preparation of audit reports and communicate audit findings to senior team members.

Coordinate with clients to obtain information, clarifications and supporting documents.

Ensure timely completion of audit assignments while maintaining quality and qualified standards.





Stay updated on applicable Companies Act, Ind AS/Accounting Standards, auditing standards and other regulatory requirements.

Work closely with Partners, Managers and the audit team on client engagements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

2- 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Statutory Audit.

Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles and audit procedures.

Hands-on experience in audit execution, working papers and audit documentation.

Valuable knowledge of Companies Act, 2013, Ind AS/Accounting Standards and Standards on Auditing.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Positive interpersonal skills and a client-oriented approach.

Proficiency in MS Excel and other audit-related tools.
