About:

We are looking for an experienced Thought Machine Vault Developer with robust Python skills and hands-on experience developing and supporting Smart Contracts on Thought Machine Vault Core.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and enhance Vault Smart Contracts using Python.
Work with Vault hooks, parameters, postings, balances, schedules and account lifecycle events.
Implement and support financial behaviours such as repayments, fees, payment schedules, arrears, reversals and account adjustments.
Develop and maintain unit and Vault simulation tests.
Troubleshoot Smart Contract, configuration and production issues.
Support releases, deployments and production incidents.
Work with QA and integration teams to validate financial transactions and end-to-end behaviour.

Must Have




Solid Python development experience.
Hands-on Thought Machine Vault Core experience.
Proven experience developing or maintaining Vault Smart Contracts.
Good understanding of hooks, postings, parameters, balances and scheduled events.
Experience with Vault unit/simulation testing.
Positive understanding of financial transactions and ledger concepts.
Git and CI/CD experience.

Good to Have
Experience in banking, lending or premium finance.
REST APIs and Kafka/event-driven systems.
Experience troubleshooting and supporting Vault in production.
