Vendor Development Engineer required urgently

Experience: 4–5 Years in Vendor Development

Key Responsibilities:
Identify, develop and evaluate recent vendors and assess supply risks.
Ensure timely material availability as per production/project schedules.
Manage vendor coordination, material planning and subcontracting.
Monitor vendor quality, delivery, capacity and performance.
Negotiate with suppliers for cost savings and ensure budget compliance.
Conduct vendor audits, visits and supplier development activities.
Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Design, Production, Stores and Logistics.
Handle vendor queries and take corrective/debit actions when required.
Maintain MIS and reports on material ordering, delivery, supplier performance and delays.
Drive continuous improvement and maintain 5S/documentation.
Robust knowledge of Turning and Fabrication from a Purchase perspective.
