Weighbridge OperationsManage complete inbound and outbound weighing operations and ensure accurate recording of gross, tare and net weights.Material ReceiptEnsure proper weighing and documentation of iron ore, coal, coke, limestone, dolomite, scrap, consumables and other incoming materials.Dispatch WeighingControl weighing of finished steel products, by-products, scrap and other outbound materials.ERP/System ControlEnsure timely and accurate weighment entries in ERP/SAP/other weighbridge software.DocumentationControl weighment slips, gate passes, challans, invoices, delivery documents and related records.ReconciliationReconcile weighbridge data with Stores, Purchase, Logistics, Dispatch, Accounts and Production records.Weight AccuracyEnsure calibration, verification and proper functioning of weighbridges and associated equipment.Fraud & Loss PreventionEstablish controls against duplicate weighments, wrong vehicle numbers, manipulation, unauthorized weighing and other irregularities.Vehicle ControlCoordinate with Security/Gate and Logistics for vehicle identification,



sequencing and movement.Stock ControlSupport accurate material stock accounting through reliable weighment data.MISPrepare daily/monthly weighbridge reports, material movement reports and discrepancy reports.Team ManagementSupervise weighbridge operators, data-entry personnel and supporting manpower.Maintenance CoordinationCoordinate with Electrical/Instrumentation/IT teams for breakdowns, software issues, sensors, load cells, displays and networking.ComplianceEnsure compliance with applicable Legal Metrology requirements and internal Company procedures.Audit SupportProvide weighbridge records and reports for internal, statutory and management audits.Safety & DisciplineEnsure secure vehicle movement and discipline around weighbridge and gate areas.

Preferred candidate profile
Graduate in any discipline; preferably B.Com/BBA/B.Sc./B.E./Diploma
Certification/course in Weighbridge Operations, Logistics, Materials Management or ERP will be an advantage.

Experience
812 years of relevant experience for Manager level.
Experience in a steel plant/heavy manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
