Job Responsibilities
Inspect welding and fit-up activities as per drawings and company requirements.
Check dimensions, alignment, fit-up, weld joints and basic fabrication parameters.
Coordinate with welders, fitters and production team during fabrication activities.
Identify basic welding and fit-up defects and report them to the concerned supervisor.
Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
Maintain inspection records and documentation.
Support the Quality and Production teams in maintaining shop-floor quality.
Skills & Requirements
Basic understanding of mechanical drawings will be an advantage.
Interest in working on the manufacturing/shop floor.
Good observation and measurement skills.
Willingness to learn welding, fabrication and inspection processes.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Training will be provided by the company through on-the-job training.
Industry Static Equipment / Heavy Fabrication / Engineering Manufacturing
