Lead Software Engineer / Technical Lead

Position Summary The Software Engineer II (P3) is a robust individual contributor responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications and APIs.

This role works closely with senior engineers and product teams to deliver up-to-date cloud-based solutions while contributing to engineering quality, system reliability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Develop scalable backend services using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.

Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews.

Write unit and integration tests.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Contribute to CI/CD automation and engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

4+ years of software development experience.

Solid experience with

o Java o Spring Boot o REST APIs o SQL databases

Experience with AWS cloud services.

Experience with

o Docker o CI/CD pipelines o Git-based workflows

Understanding of Agile development methodologies.





Experience writing automated tests using JUnit and Mockito.

Experience with Expert.ai for natural language understanding, entity extraction,

and AI-driven content enrichment.

Hands-on experience with GraphDB and SPARQL for querying and managing

RDF-based knowledge graphs.

Experience with graph data modeling, including ontology design, linked data principles, and property graph patterns.

Proficiency in semantic modeling using standards such as OWL, RDF/RDFS,

and SKOS for knowledge representation.

Experience applying semantic text analytics for automated classification, tagging,

and content intelligence across large-scale publishing or research platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Kubernetes.

Frontend experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.

Familiarity with Kafka or event-driven systems.

Experience with NoSQL databases.

Exposure to observability and monitoring tools.
