Operations Management: Supervise daily receiving, warehousing, picking, packing, and dispatch operations to ensure store allocations and customer orders are fulfilled on schedule.
Inventory Control: Conduct routine cycle counts, reconcile inventory with WMS data, minimize shrinkage/stockouts, and manage stock rotations (FIFO).
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse personnel (floor operators, pickers, and forklift drivers) while fostering a productive, high-morale work workplace.
Space & Layout Optimization: Design and optimize warehouse layouts to maximize storage capacity, shorten picking routes, and improve operational throughput.
Logistics & Carrier Coordination: Work closely with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, freight carriers, and internal supply chain teams to optimize delivery routes and freight costs.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA/health and safety regulations, conduct regular safety audits, and maintain facility equipment (forklifts, conveyors, racks).
KPI Performance: Track key warehouse metrics (order accuracy, cycle time, cost per unit shipped, inventory accuracy) and deliver regular reports to senior management.
