Role Description This is a full time, on-site Jewellery Accounts & Insurance Claims Manager role based in Mumbai. The role involves managing accounting records and financial reconciliations for jewellery-related insurance policies, including premium tracking, claims reserves, and client billing. The manager will handle end-to-end jewellery insurance claims, from documentation and assessment to coordination with underwriters, surveyors, and clients, ensuring timely and accurate settlement.

Day-to-day responsibilities include verifying claim-related Jewellery valuations, reviewing policy coverage, maintaining compliance with internal and regulatory standards, and preparing reports for management.



The role also includes collaborating with sales and customer service teams to resolve client queries, support renewals, and improve processes related to Jewellery accounts and claims.

Qualifications

- Jewelry Design and Fashion Jewelry knowledge to understand product categories, valuations, and coverage requirements.
- Customer Service skills to manage client interactions, handle claims queries, and provide clear communication throughout the claims process.
- Training experience to guide internal teams and partner jewellers on documentation, claims procedures, and risk mitigation practices.
- Relevant experience in insurance accounts, claims handling, or financial operations, preferably within Jewellery, general insurance, or business insurance domains.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and MS Excel skills for reconciliations, reports, and data management.
- Knowledge of insurance processes, policy terms, and regulatory requirements in India.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field; professional insurance or accounting certifications are an advantage.
