Role & responsibilities

Experience with System development skills such as COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, MQ, CICS are required.
Experience in writing COBOL programs and solid SQL Skills for DB2 analysis.
Solid experience with mainframe modernization projects.
Experience in Data migration strategies for Mainframes to Cloud ensuring data consistency and integrity.
Experience in Optimization of mainframes jobs.
Experience working with batch and online processing on mainframe systems.
Analyze end-to-end data flow and dependencies across batch and online programs.
Support impact analysis, risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
Experience working in a product team with other developers including tech lead, product owner, scrum master, quality engineers etc.
Design and develop highly-performant technical solutions based on requirements.
Participate in agile ceremonies.
Valuable to have:
Understanding of MuleSoft, MQ, or other integration middleware.
Exposure to cloud or distributed systems integration with mainframe.
