Role & responsibilities
Manage and configure web proxy infrastructures (explicit/transparent), including URL filtering, HTTPS inspection, and application control.
Investigate and resolve L2-level proxy incidents, including root cause analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
Deploy, update, and maintain access and security policies for proxy solutions.
Involve in change management processes for proxy config changes, upgrades, or policy modifications.
Analyse logs, packet captures (Wireshark), and network traces to diagnose issues.
Handle issues related to LDAP, SAML, IWA, and active directory integration.
Maintain and configure Proxy Auto-Config (PAC) files for traffic routing. Create, troubleshoot, and modify PAC files to steer traffic based on user location, browser settings, and network requirements.
Coordinate with vendors (TAC) and L3 teams for advanced issues and upgrades.
