Position Vacant – Dredge Supervisor
Maxitool Australia is a division of the Maxitool Group, providing high-quality Dredging and Engineering services to clients within the mining and resource industries for over 20 years.
We are currently seeking an experienced Dredge Supervisor for FIFO work in Papua Recent Guinea. This is a permanent role. Successful applicants will work with back-to-back expat roles on a 3 weeks on/2 weeks off roster, leading a primarily national workforce.
The Position
Available for mid-year 2026 start
FIFO ex Cairns, but links from other locations possible
Camp accommodation & meals provided
Paid travel ex Cairns

Compliance requirements
Must be capable of passing pre-employment medical
Current Drivers Licence
Ability to pass a drug & alcohol test
Current passport
Ability to obtain police check and/or any other requirements for employment visa

Hard working and self-motivated
Team player with a can-do attitude
Willing to make decisions and be accountable
Capable of working effectively and safely with little oversight or assistance

Skills & Experience required
Experience working in Papua Recent Guinea or other developing nations preferable
Experience working in locations with security challenges key
Tok Pisin fluency very helpful but not essential
Must have dredging experience, preferably in a mining environment
Mechanical aptitude
