We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant with robust expertise in Variant Configuration (VC) to support business processes related to sales, order management, and configurable products. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP SD and VC solutions to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and support SAP SD processes including:
Sales Order Management
Pricing
Billing
Shipping and Delivery
Credit Management
Design, implement, and maintain SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC / S/4HANA VC) for configurable products.
Configure and manage:
Characteristics, classes, and class types
Dependencies (preconditions, procedures, constraints, selection conditions)
Configuration profiles and BOM/routing integration
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
Support integration with other SAP modules such as MM, PP, and FI.
Perform system testing (unit, integration, UAT)
and support go-live activities.
Analyze and resolve production issues related to SD and VC.
Prepare functional specifications and work with technical teams for enhancements and custom developments.
Provide end-user training and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience in SAP SD module.
Proven experience in SAP Variant Configuration (VC).
Good understanding of configurable materials, BOMs, and routings.
Experience with pricing procedures, condition techniques, and output determination.
Knowledge of SD integration with MM, PP, and FI.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with S/4HANA SD and Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC).
SAP SD or VC certification.
Experience in manufacturing or make-to-order (MTO) settings.
Exposure to global or multi-country SAP implementations.
