Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and analytical Assistant Product Manager to support the Product Management team in planning, developing, launching, and improving Xiaomi products. The role requires solid market understanding, data analysis, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to translate consumer insights into actionable product requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Product Planning & Market Research
Support market research and competitive analysis across smartphones and other consumer electronics categories.
Track competitor products, specifications, pricing, launches, and market trends.
Collect and analyze consumer feedback, reviews, and pain points.
Support the Product Manager in defining product positioning and key selling points.
Product Development Support
Assist in preparing product requirements and feature proposals.
Coordinate with R&D;, software, hardware, camera, testing, and other internal teams.
Follow up on product development progress and key issues.
Support product testing and identify prospects for localization and optimization for the Indian market.




Product Testing & User Experience
Participate in product testing and evaluation.
Compare product performance with key competitors.
Analyze areas such as:
Performance and gaming
Battery life and charging
Camera quality
Display
Software and user experience
Network and connectivity
Durability and reliability
Collect and summarize user feedback and testing results.
Competitive Analysis
Maintain regular competitor tracking and comparison reports.
Analyze key areas including:
Chipset and performance
Camera
Battery and charging
Display
Storage and memory
Software
Price and value proposition
Identify Xiaomi's competitive advantages and potential product gaps.
Launch & Go-to-Market Support
Support product launch preparation and product positioning.
Prepare product comparison materials and key selling points.
Work with Marketing, Sales, Retail, Training, and PR teams.
