Hiring: Windows Server & Hyper-V Cluster Administrator (L2/L3)

Job Overview
Role: Windows & Hyper-V Systems Administrator
Experience Required: 4 to 8 Years
Job Location: Hyderabad (In-Office)
Notice Period: Immediate Joiners to 15 Days Max Only

Key Job Responsibilities
Cluster & VM Management: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Hyper-V 2012/2016 Failover Clusters. Create, delete, configure, and manage snapshots for Virtual Machines (VMs).
Infrastructure & OS Support: Perform clean OS reinstalls in crash scenarios. Execute In-place and Side-by-side OS Migrations, server commissioning, and decommissioning.
Proactive Monitoring: Track CPU, memory utilization, Windows resources, event logs, and critical services using BSE native/monitoring tools. Compile monthly server availability reports.
Incident & Problem Management:



Own infrastructure incidents from detection to resolution. Correlate related incidents into problem tickets and drive root-cause analysis.
Security & Patching: Execute OS hardening based on strict security compliance policies. Handle monthly security patch deployments and release management.
App Support & Permissions: Manage server access rights, folder permissions, and conduct basic troubleshooting for IIS Web Servers.
Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with internal customer support teams and third-party hardware/software vendors to resolve infrastructure faults.

Technical Skills Required (Must Haves)
Virtualization: Hyper-V Management & Performance reporting
High Availability: Failover Cluster Configuration and Management
Web Server: IIS Basic Troubleshooting
Security: OS Hardening & Security Patching
System Engineering: In-place & Side-by-side OS Migration, Server Performance Troubleshooting

Education & Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / B.Sc in Computer Science or a related field.
Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA / MCSE / Windows Server hybrid core) are a solid advantage.
