Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

Proficient in Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring MVC
Experience with Open System development skills such as Java, JEE, JSP, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, Spring Batch, REST, JSON, JavaScript, HTML, and XML.
Proficient in writing and maintain comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability using Junit.
Robust experience with API development including experience with Rest
Experience with API gateways and patterns
Experience with relational database (Oracle, DB2)
Working Knowledge with Micro Service Architecture
Experience in UI development using React/Angular/Thyme leaf
Working Knowledge with application development on MuleSoft, Azure cloud and Kubernetes
Experience in Shell scripting, Batch jobs & Autosys
Ability to design, develop, test, document, and implement quality software within targeted timeframes
Experience working in a product team with other developers including tech lead, product owner, scrum master, quality engineers etc.
Design and develop highly performant technical solutions based on requirements
Participate in agile ceremonies,



create technical Jira stories based on business requirements and provide story point estimates
Utilize CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment of applications

Key skillsets:
• Strong experience with API development, including RESTful services
• Understanding of object-oriented analysis, design, and programming.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring MVC for backend development
• Proficiency in developing front-end components with React and Thyme leaf
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit tests
• Proficient in shell scripting, development of batch jobs & job scheduling tools (preferred: Autosys)
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure or familiarity with other cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and both Agile Methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Robust communication and collaboration abilities
• Proficient with Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub
• Valuable to Have Skillset : Linux
