Role & Responsibilities
Drive sales growth and business development within the assigned territory.
Meet prospective customers regularly, understand their technical requirements, and recommend suitable solutions.
Develop a solid understanding of adhesive products, their technologies, applications, specifications, and limitations.
Provide pre-sales technical consultation, product demonstrations, and application support to customers.
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, manufacturers, institutions, and OEMs.
Build and maintain a healthy sales/project pipeline.
Support product specification and approval with OEMs and institutional customers.
Provide technical troubleshooting and application-related support.
Travel extensively within the assigned territory for customer meetings and product demonstrations.
Submit sales reports on time and coordinate with internal teams such as Purchase, Accounts, Reporting Manager, and Management.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering as per the screening requirement shared.
Experience:



25 years in Technical Sales / Sales Engineering / Application Engineering / Industrial Sales.
Must have prior sales experience and robust technical knowledge.
Ability to understand customer problems and recommend suitable technical solutions.
Good communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
Prefer candidates from Industrial Adhesives, Specialty Chemicals, Industrial Products, Engineering Products, OEM Sales, Automotive Components, Coatings, Lubricants, or similar B2B technical industries.
Should be comfortable with extensive field travel.
Stable career history preferred; avoid candidates with frequent job switches.
Should be proactive, target-oriented, and capable of developing long-term customer relationships. The JD itself specifies B.E. Mechanical and 2–5 years of relevant experience.
