Role & responsibilities
Sourcing & Requisition: Process purchase requisitions and source high-quality materials (HVAC units, electrical cables, plumbing pipes, fire safety gear).
Tendering & Quotations: Float Requests for Quotations (RFQs), collect commercial bids, and prepare detailed comparative statements.
Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and warranties with suppliers and subcontractors.
Purchase Orders (POs): Issue, track, and manage official purchase orders using company ERP systems.
Site Coordination: Coordinate closely with project managers, site engineers, and store teams to align deliveries with daily construction schedules.
Quality & Compliance: Verify that received goods match approved technical samples, brand specifications, and regulatory standards.
Cost Control: Track market price trends and identify cost-saving alternatives without compromising project quality.




Documentation: Maintain transparent logs of vendor databases, comparative statements, invoices, and delivery receipts.

Preferred candidate profile
Education: Bachelors degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
Technical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with MEP components, system designs, and construction terminology.
Negotiation & Analytical Skills: Robust capability to analyze market rates, evaluate vendor performance, and close profitable contracts.
Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of ERP tools (like SAP, Oracle, or Tally) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Experience: 3 to 10+ years of active procurement experience handling commercial, residential, or industrial MEP projects.
