JOB DESCRIPTION
Purchase Coordination Executive
Job Purpose
To efficiently coordinate the purchase process from purchase requisition to material delivery, ensuring timely procurement, proper documentation, vendor coordination, and smooth communication between Purchase, Accounts, Stores, Operations, and other internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and follow up on Purchase Requisitions (PRs)



and Purchase Orders (POs).
Obtain quotations from approved/current vendors and prepare quotation comparisons.
Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, delivery schedules, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders as per approved requirements.
Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials/services.
Maintain regular communication with vendors and internal departments regarding purchase status.
Coordinate with the Stores/Warehouse team for material receipt and resolve delivery-related discrepancies.
Verify purchase-related documents such as quotations, POs, invoices, delivery challans, and GRNs.
Coordinate with the Accounts team for invoice verification and payment processing.
Maintain and update purchase trackers, pending orders, vendor records, and procurement reports.
