Job Title: Sports Trainer

Job Summary:
The Sports Trainer will be responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting sports training sessions for students to enhance their physical fitness, sports skills, and overall performance. The role involves mentoring student athletes, preparing teams for inter-college and university competitions, and promoting a culture of health, discipline, and sportsmanship within the institution.

Key Responsibilities:
Training & Coaching
Conduct regular practice sessions for assigned sports (indoor & outdoor).
Develop structured training schedules and performance improvement plans.
Identify and nurture talented students for competitive sports.
Prepare college teams for inter-college, university, state, and national-level competitions.
Event Management
Plan and organize annual sports events, including Sports Day and intra-college tournaments.
Coordinate with departments for participation in external competitions.




Manage logistics related to sports events, fixtures, and tournaments.
Student Development
Promote physical fitness and healthy lifestyle awareness among students.
Guide students on injury prevention, nutrition basics, and sports discipline.
Mentor students on teamwork, leadership, and sports ethics.
Facility & Equipment Management
Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of sports facilities.
Monitor sports equipment inventory and recommend procurement when required.
Ensure safety standards are followed during training sessions and events.
Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain attendance records of practice sessions.
Submit periodic performance and activity reports to the administration.
Ensure compliance with institutional and university sports policies.

Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed) or relevant certification.
