Responsibilities
Provides genetic counseling to the patient regarding genetic conditions
Share details regarding the genetic tests with Oncologists.
Facilitates DNA testing
Interprets and discloses DNA/genetic testing results and family histories to coordinate appropriate follow-up care
Maintains appropriate documentation at all times
Works comfortably, co-operatively, and professionally as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Maintains skilled standards
Education & Experience
Master's degree in Genetics/Genetic Counseling.
Minimum one year of experience in genetic counseling, cancer-related experience preferred.
