Role Description & ResponsibilitiesThis is a full-time in office role for a Graphic & Book Designer, suited for someone passionate about visual storytelling and book publishing. Responsibilities include:
Designing layouts, covers, and illustrations for books across genres, especially children’s titles
Creating marketing collaterals, posters, banners, and digital creatives for campaigns and events
Developing engaging, child-friendly designs for Woodpecker Books (activity books, storybooks, puzzles)
Collaborating with editors, writers, and the content team to ensure designs align with brand vision
Preparing print-ready files, ensuring accuracy in formatting, colours, and specifications
Managing multiple design projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
Staying updated with design trends in publishing and retail

Qualifications and Requirements
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator,



Photoshop) and CorelDRAW, Premier Pro:
Prior experience in book design or publishing is preferred
Robust sense of typography, layout, and colour
Creative thinker with attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with teams
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
