Balance Pilates is a up-to-date wellness studio focused on mindful movement, strength, and holistic fitness. We are building a strong digital presence and are looking for a creative professional to help us capture and showcase our brand through high-quality visual content.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented freelance photographer and videographer to visit our studio twice a week to create engaging photo and video content. This role will also involve collaborating closely with our social media intern to support ongoing content creation and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Capture high-quality photos and videos of:
Pilates sessions and classes
Instructors and clients (with consent)
Studio workplace and aesthetics
Behind-the-scenes moments
Edit and deliver polished content suitable for:
Instagram (Reels, Stories, Posts)
TikTok
Website and marketing materials
Work collaboratively with the social media intern to:
Plan content shoots
Execute content ideas and trends
Maintain a consistent brand aesthetic
Suggest creative concepts and visual storytelling ideas aligned with the brand
Ensure timely delivery of edited content as per weekly requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience in photography and videography (portfolio required)
Strong understanding of social media content formats and trends
Ability to shoot both vertical and horizontal content
Proficiency in editing tools (e.g., Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, etc.)
Positive eye for lighting, composition, and aesthetics
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Reliable and punctual for in-person shoots (2x per week)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with fitness, wellness, or lifestyle brands
Basic understanding of Pilates or fitness content (a plus)
Creative mindset with the ability to bring fresh ideas
