Job Title: Junior Software Tester

Shift Time: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on project requirements.
Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools such as Jest, Cypress, PHPUnit, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools such as JIRA, Trello, or GitHub Issues.
Collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams to understand requirements and improve software quality.
Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.
Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to quality assurance processes.
Support CI/CD testing activities and deployment validations.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Approximately 1 year of experience in software testing or quality assurance.




Basic knowledge of software testing concepts, SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with JavaScript testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Mocha, or Jasmine.
Basic understanding of Laravel testing using PHPUnit.
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools.
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Skills
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
Understanding of database testing using MySQL or similar databases.
Exposure to browser automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development settings.
