A store assistant supports daily retail operations by assisting customers, processing transactions, and maintaining store organization. They act as the face of the store, ensuring shelves are fully stocked, the sales floor remains clean, and shoppers receive a welcoming experience.

Core Responsibilities
Customer Service: Greet customers, answer product-related questions, and help shoppers locate items.
Stock Management: Restock shelves, rotate merchandise, and receive/organize incoming store deliveries.
Sales & Transactions: Process payments via point-of-sale (POS) systems, manage cash registers, and handle returns.
Store Upkeep: Maintain a clean, visually appealing store layout, sweep floors, and tidy up displays.
Security & Compliance: Monitor the sales floor to deter shoplifting and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
