Role Overview

Own all electrical and instrumentation maintenance for the Lube Oil Blending & Grease Plant - sustaining plant uptime through robust preventive maintenance and fast, safe breakdown response across all electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
Own electrical maintenance of the entire plant - power distribution, panels, drives, motors and instrumentation.
Maintain and troubleshoot MCC, PCC and PLC control panels, including wiring, contactors, relays and protection.
Maintain VFDs, soft starters and motor drives for pumps, agitators, mixers and packaging equipment.
Service plant motors, drives and starters - alignment, megger testing and bearing / insulation checks.
Maintain instrumentation - level, temperature, flow and pressure transmitters and weighing / load-cell systems used in batching and filling.
Prepare and execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain equipment history cards and records.
Provide rapid breakdown response to minimise downtime and carry out root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
Maintain DG sets, transformers,



capacitor banks and the 230 V / 400 V, 50 Hz distribution system.
Manage electrical spares and consumables and maintain a critical-spares inventory.
Enforce electrical safety - LOTO (lock-out / tag-out), earthing, secure isolation and statutory compliance - and support automation, PLC / SCADA changes and current-equipment commissioning.

Technical Knowledge / Skills Required
Strong hands-on experience with MCC / PLC panels, VFDs, motors and field instrumentation.
Reading electrical and control wiring and panel drawings.
Preventive and breakdown maintenance in a continuous / batch process plant.

Desirable / Added Advantage

PLC / SCADA fault-finding, weighing / load-cell systems, and experience in a chemical, lube or process plant setting.
