SUPERVISOR’S JOB TITLE: Group Leader, Director
Chemistry is the branch of science focused on performing qualitative and quantitative analyses of the composition, properties, and activity of organic or inorganic compounds and biologics including:
Determining chemical and physical properties during chemical syntheses, fermentation or other chemical processes -Identifying the relationships between molecular structure and physical or biological properties to aid in analysis of compounds and molecules:
LEVEL: Performs routine entry level assignments. Typically requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts:
Develops competence by performing structured work assignments
Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems
Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others
The associate level is an entry level qualified.
JOB SCOPE/ SUMMARY:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Clean and maintain test equipment.
Provide project support and assistance to the various departments as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Educational attainment is equivalent to bachelor’s degree in science (Chemistry), Paint Technology or a related field
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES RECOMMENDED FOR POSITION:
Knowledge of the principles of math and chemistry
Ability to communicate effectively, read specifications and follow oral or written instructions.
