Drive supplier selection through robust qualification processes.
2. Assess recent and existing supplier capabilities to meet product, cost, quality, capacity and fulfilment ensuring suppliers are able to meet requirements for performance, quality, cost and delivery.
3. Drive improvements utilizing Lean methodologies, supplier scorecards and own supplier audit, ensuring supplier compliance, whilst driving systematic problem solving and process improvement plans to deliver value.
4. Track the supplier’s performance indicators, based on their scorecards and rankings, to facilitate and develop the supply base’s ability to consistently meet or exceed defined expectations
5. Develop positive relationships and work closely with QA team to manage, implement and track supplier/ engineering, design changes, capacity studies and Recent Product Introductions, and transfers Initial supplier qualification assessments and improvement initiatives.

Provide leadership during investigations of major problems and or special projects focusing on developing working relationships with suppliers and the supply chain with regard to product development and procurement of parts.
7. Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
8. PPAP & High production volume trial (PPVT) run at supplier
8. Provide technical expertise to customers/licensees in solving technical problems associated with product supply and test facilities.
10. Establish Blue Star CAL lab at supplier final inspection areas.
11. Organise monthly supplier Quality review meeting between supplier and Blue Star management teams.
