Role Summary
The AVP – Business Finance & Data Analytics will act as a strategic finance partner to the business, combining strong financial acumen with advanced analytics capability. This role will be responsible for driving business performance insights, building robust MIS/dashboards, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and enabling leadership to make faster, data-backed decisions. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable with financial rigour and data storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Business Finance
Partner with business/category/functional heads to track P&L; performance,



margins, and cost efficiency
Drive annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and variance analysis
Provide financial evaluation and business case support for current product launches, pricing decisions, and investments
Monitor working capital, cash flow, and unit economics across categories/channels
Support month-end close processes with business commentary and performance analysis

Data Analytics & MIS
Design and maintain dashboards and MIS reports covering sales, margins, opex, and key business KPIs
Build and automate reporting frameworks to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy
Translate large datasets into clear, actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional teams
Partner with sales, marketing, supply chain, and category teams to build performance tracking tools
Identify trends, risks, and prospects through data analysis to support strategic decisions
