NPolicybazaar is hiring anexperienced Sales Manager to lead the Direct Channel business for our Insurance vertical in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in field sales, team management, and business development, with the ability to drive regional sales performance and manage large multi-level teams.

NKey Responsibilities:

- Drive regional business growth and achieve sales targets for the Insurance business.
N
- Lead and manage a largefield sales team comprising:
N
- Assistant Managers (AM)
N
- Team Leaders (TL)
n
- Field Sales Executives (FSE)
N
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market penetration and revenue.
N
- Monitor team performance, productivity, and target achievement.
N
- Recruit, train, mentor,and develop high-performing sales teams.
N
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
N
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and identify business opportunities.
N
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations and customer satisfaction.
N

nDesired Candidate Profile

N

n
- Minimum 15+ yearsof experience in Sales, preferably in Insurance,



BFSI, or Financial Services.
N
- Proven experience in managing regional sales operations and multi-layer field sales teams.
N
- Strong leadership, people management, and coaching skills.
N
- Experience in Direct Channel (Open Market) sales is mandatory.
N
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
N
- Ability to drive business growth through strategic planning and execution.
N
- Handled more than 300+ employees.
N
- Knowledge of the regional language (Bengali) is mandatory.
N
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
N

- 6 Days Working
N
- Saturday & Sunday are mandatory working days
N
- One rotational weekly off.
