Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, taxation, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, financial statement preparation, and accounting principles.

NKey Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

- Handle Direct Tax and Indirect Tax activities and ensure timely statutory compliance.
N
- Prepare and review financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
N
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
N
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections and monitor actuals against budget.
N
- Analyze financial data and provide insights on variances, trends, and business performance.
N
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and other external stakeholders during audits and statutory requirements.
N
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
N




- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documentation.
N
- Support management withfinancial analysis and accounting-related decision-making.
N
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.

nRequired Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
N
- Strong knowledge of Direct and Indirect Taxation.
N
- Hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting and financial reporting.
N
- Strong experience in financial statement preparation.
N
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
N
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
N
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
N
- Proficiency in MS Exceland accounting/ERP software.
N

nPreferred Qualifications

- Experience in a corporate or multinational organization.

- Knowledge of ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar platforms.
